Rabbit Transit

1983
Rabbit Transit (1983) is a two-stage arcade platformer where players guide a love-struck rabbit on a perilous quest for companionship. The game begins in The Mysterious Meadow, where players must hop downward from ledge to ledge while dodging snakes, flying choppers, and time-stealing butterflies. A timely leap onto a turtle carries the rabbit to the second stage: The Land of Ledges. Here, in a nod to QBert*, players must change the color of ledges by hopping across them, all while avoiding falling stones and retracing their steps as ledges revert to their original state. Successful completion triggers The Bunny Bushes, a brief celebratory cutscene of romantic and reproductive success before the cycle repeats at higher difficulty. Quirky, challenging, and filled with humor, Rabbit Transit highlights the variety of experiences made possible with the Supercharger’s expanded memory and multiload capabilities.
The No Swear Gamer has a great review of Rabbit Transit on his Youtube Channel.  The original developer later worked on Summer Games (which was based on Sweat from Starpath).  It’s a Q*bert style game based on finding love with the goal of making more bunny rabbits.  It’s a cute title that could be part of a comprehensive Starpath revival, or even a cute mobile game with some updated graphics — the gameplay itself is compelling.
