Stuffin the Briefcase

Stuffin the Briefcase (1991) Originally part of Epyx’s Getaway Laptop Entertainment 6-Pack, Stuffin the Briefcase turns everyday packing into a surprisingly clever spatial puzzle. Designed for laptops running DOS or Windows 3.0/3.1, the game challenges players to fit oddly shaped items—umbrellas, eyeglasses, razors, candy bars, newspapers, even pistols—into a limited briefcase layout without stacking or overlap. With over 60 levels of increasing complexity, each scenario presents a new packing theme, from lighthearted setups like “Rain Song” and “Weekend” to the more absurd “Sharp Shooter” and “Going Ape” (bananas included). Some stages feature multiple briefcases, gravitational rules, or even infinite lists of stuff that keep growing until you surrender. Praised for its crisp pixel art and personality-rich items, Stuffin the Briefcase stood out as the most creative and memorable game in the Getaway collection. More than just a novelty, it offered a satisfying blend of logic, precision, and just the right amount of absurdity.
We love this game!  It’s cute, fun, addicting, and it’s already under [re-]development for a release later this year.  Stay tuned!  If you’re very and seriously interested in this particular title and want to be part of some co-development efforts, please reach out to us on the licensing page.
